He worked for this company for a really long time..for years and years and years...and he would always talk to us about this BIG corporate promotion he was supposed to get, and how it was going to change his life...and set him up for retirement.

And how he was...you know....going to work his way up the corporate ladder.

So one day he called me up and said "you know what Cody...the bosses called and they want to have a meeting with me tomorrow...and I think I am finally going to become manager of the division that I am in. This is that moment I have been waiting for."

And I was really excited and happy for him. So happy in fact that I called my mom and brother and said we needed to do something special to celebrate. So the next day while my dad was at work I went and bought a big cake and my brother went to get some balloons, and my mom cooked my dad his favorite meatloaf meal and we were going to have a big celebration dinner.

So around dinner time we were all just sitting there in anticipation waiting for my dad to come home from work and when the door finally opened and we were ready to yell congratulations, we could all tell from the look on my fathers face that something was severely wrong.

And when my dad came in and told the family that instead of getting a promotion, that he was told the company was downsizing and he was losing his job, we were devastated.

And I have never seen my dad cry before...but it was the worst most helpless feeling that I have ever had.

He worked for this company for a really long time..

for years and years and years...and he would always talk to us about this BIG corporate promotion he was supposed to get, and how it was going to change his life...and set him up for retirement.

Watching him be so sad and there was nothing I could do to help him. And unfortunately that was just the beginning of his pain.

Over the next few months my dad tried desperately to find another job. And to be honest with you I never knew age discrimination really existed, but I witnessed my dad struggle each week...going to job interview after interview only to get passed up for a younger worker. The financial stress he was feeling was literally aging him right before our eyes...he was so depressed, so angry, and the stress literally making him have neck and back problems. He was such a proud man that I felt that he felt he was letting the family down.

And as the months turned to a year, and as the bills and mortgage payments stacked up, financially he found himself in a really bad place. It got so bad in fact that one day my dad set aside his pride and asked me to go to lunch with him. And when we sat down he looked me in the eyes and told me that him and my mom were worried that they were going to lose the house and he wanted to know if he could borrow some money to pay his mortgage payment.

And it is hard to describe the feelings I had hearing him ask me knowing that I myself was barely making ends meet as a bookkeeper, and I probably wouldn't be able to help him. I felt angry at myself and I regretted all those times I told myself that I was too tired or to busy to focus more on my own financial situation.

My dad used to always tell me "in order to succeed...you have to have short term sacrifices in order to have long term gains".

So I had to give up hanging out with my friends...and watching too much t.v., when I got tired at the end of the day...I had to push through and work that extra hour or two. If I really wanted it bad enough...I knew that I had to make some adjustments in my life. whatever it would take in order to achieve massive success and not just survive... But thrive... Even in a recession.

I realized that it wasn't going to be one BIG breakthrough that would get me in the game...but it was a bunch of little breakthroughs that would do it.

And then finally one day it happened...

I finally was able to get a contract on a historic house from a couple that was going through a divorce.

They even had their attorneys involved and just wanted to "get out". I contracted the property and was able to "quick flip" it for $50,000 more than I got it for.

(I'm going to explain to you more details
on how that actually works in a bit).

But my point is this...

At the end of I landed a real estate deal that profited me over $40,000 after all closing cost and it was life-changing and I was able to do the entire deal with none of my own money or credit (which at the time I didn't even have).

The real estate market right now reminds me of a story of the California gold rush that started in 1849. The gold seekers also known as the "49ers"

The funny thing is it wasn't the 49ers that made the majority of the easy money.

But you know what he had? Was heart

He was willing to put in the energy and the work and do whatever it takes to be successful. And you know what?

He had a lot of people hating on his dreams, including some of his closest friends and family members. And it was sad, but You know... they were really hating on him, they were really doubting him.

You know who it was?

It was actually the people that sold them all the shovels. So what can we learn from that historical time...to sell "real estate shovels" the flood of investors entering the market...

The answer is to understand what a quick flipper is and what he actually does to create value.

Once upon a time in an average american neighborhood there was a guy named Sam.

Now Sam owned a house that needs a little bit of work but at the end of the day when all is said and done the house is worth about $150,000 but it needs about $15,000 worth of work to be able to sell that house for that $150,000 price.

Now here is what makes this situation somewhat unique and where the opportunity comes in.

Sam is in distress and needs cash quickly.

There could be a million reasons why he could be distress such as divorce, medical bills, loss of job etc. The details vary depending on the situation but just understand that there are other "Sam's" all over the country (many of them in your own backyard) but the bottom line is Sam needs cash and he needs cash now.

One might ask "Why doesn't Sam just list the house for sale with a real estate agent?" I often get that question and it's a legitimate one but here's what most people dont realize...

The average real estate agent takes at least 90 days to list a house for sale, market, negotiate, contract and close and on top of that. Sam doesn't have the money to clean up the house get the property in "retail condition" and he isn't in a place mentally to be able to show the house and deal with other real estate agents and potential buyers that want to see the house.

Sam is kind of a mess right now and he just wants someone to solve his problem so that he can get a lump some of cash, pay off his debts, go rent an apartment and start over again. Sam is stuck and he's crying out right this very second for some help.

Then over here you got Bill.

Bill doesn't know how to find Sam.

That's because a majority of real estate agents are not trained to locate sellers that are as motivated as Sam that will let their house go for a quick sale price. They are all programmed to list the houses for sale and get a higher offer that can't close quickly (which doesn't solve Sams immediate financial needs so they can't really help them).

You fix everyone's problem as a quick flipper!

You get in direct contact with Sam using one of 6 different strategies (strategies that Bill doesn't really know much about).

You contract the property with Sam for $90,000 cash in "as is" condition and you agree to close in 2 weeks.
